Road America Hosts NASCAR

As Road Atlanta gets ready to welcome NASCAR fro the second annual Bucyrus 200, they have given a partial advance list of drivers participating in this years race. You do not usually see NASCAR reported here but the road races always provide the best of NASCAR combined with the road racing we love. This years race looks like it will be an entertaining one as some of the most skilled drivers from open wheel and endurance racing are scheduled to compete. Adrian Newey To Le Mans?

No, I have not heard anything that will scoop the racing world but I have been mulling some things while trying to solve sixteen of the endless supply of problems with working on the web. One of the many disparate thoughts was to wit, if the new delta wing car does make it's debut at the 2012 24 Hours of Le Mans, wouldn't it be worth a trip to France to see it battle with the Adrian Newey penned Red Bull X2010 design? It was the worst of times, it was the best of Times.


The Canadian Grand Prix got of to a bad start with heavy rains. The Red Bull's started on the front row but Webber's day was compromised when his car was hit by Hamilton, requiring him to fight his way past slower cars for yet another race. The race was stopped for 2 hours and 5 minutes due to heavy rain fall. Rain is the great equalizer and the wet track allowed Michael Schumacher to turn in the type of drive we have com...

24 Hours of Le Mans, 2011

It is the day we all wait for, the start of the 24 hour classic. I think we should all thank Speed TV for giving us so much coverage of the event. Thank you notes should also go to Chevrolet and Corvette Racing for their live video stream from the cockpit of their car. Most of the time I was on my backup computer so I was able only to sample the live stream during the night but the audio did alert me to problems on the course and pitstops.
